Paints and pen: June 2024

I can’t believe that we are halfway through the year! Feels like new years eve was just the other day! Summer is full swing in Toronto and I can’t complain, and I am at this point in denial of winter ever coming our way again!

Floral illustration created for my licensing agents at Wild Apple The medium is watercolour and gouache.

In progress…

I wrapped a bunch of deadlines for this month, one of the major one was the first round of the sketches for my next book- Samina Goes to a Wedding (working tiltle) with Owl Kids. It’s a pleasure to work on my second book with my amazing editor - Jennifer Stokes and the very talented book designer Elisa Gutierez! Honestly it’s a dream team! I am sharing a teaser, one of my sketches for the upcoming book.

An initial draft for Samina Goes to a wedding published with Owl Kids for Fall 2025
