It feels like the universe is sending me a sign! The Year of the Snake is all about wisdom and transformation, and I made a big career decision without even realizing it was the same day the Snake year began. It’s almost like everything is aligning, guiding me to where I need to go. This is the perfect time for me to dive into learning new tricks of the trade—getting better at making videos, working on my manuscripts, keeping a daily sketchbook, and reading more. With the patience and strategic growth this year represents, I know that every step I take will help sharpen my skills and fuel my creativity. It’s all about thoughtful, steady progress toward long-term success, and I’m ready for it.

Ripping and cutting up paper adding other mediums like acrylic inks and crayons creating textured paper is a great technique to make some mixed media pieces. I have working in this media quite a lot these days.

A January Challenge on birds on Instagram #Birbfest
This was a 30 day challenge, and it’s the second year I have been doing it. I realized that I really love illustrating birds and painting them in Procreate.
