Farida Zaman is an Illustrator of many children’s picture books, book jackets, even cookbooks. Many of her projects have involved doing illustrations for educational books too. I have worked for clients in the UK, USA and Canada. Trained in the UK, my first ever client was Oxford University Press.
From contemporary everyday scenes of children living in a multicultural world to Folk stories about global cultures, cute cuddly babies and animals to teens with attitudes, she has done it all.
Because of her global background and love of travel Farida has an insight to different cultures that gives me an advantage to illustrate certain topics and stories.
Farida works in watercolors and Inks and also work digitally depending on the nature of the project. She a graphic design background that enables her to also take on a book project that requires the entire book designed and illustrated too.
